seancyril Hi Russell, I love the way you have re-worked your classic song. I was a bit shocked at first as it is so different to the original version but after a few minutes was really starting to dig it. Brilliant production and really catchy. Gets better on every listen. Can't stop singing the " do do do" bits to myself!

MoNkA Extremely catchy song featuring epic guitar work from the late great John McGeoch. Well done to Russell Webb for creating a very fitting tribute to the memories of John McGeoch and Stuart Adamson. A charity single to raise money for a very worthwhile cause. Download it NOW!!!

lyrics

Did you think I was frightened by your fury?
Would you love to see me hanging by your jury?
Put me in the picture, try to set me in motion
Draw me out in the fields
Pour me into the ocean

I'm not staying, you're just weighing me down
You betrayed me, this is easy

When the river runs dry, the river runs dry
It's goodbye

In the heat of the night I'm calling out the new day
No more broken promises, I know I never believed you anyway

You don't have to forgive me
You don't have to do anything
I'm just walking away and I'm singing

When the river runs dry, the river runs dry
When the river runs dry, the river runs dry

It's goodbye
